www.townhall.com
The first in my trifecta of conservative heavy hitter sites, this is the site – and I do mean "THE SITE" – for opinion and news columns from the brightest minds in conservative thought. Nearly everyone that matters in the U.S. conservative movement has their articles published here. The TownHall site has many tools that can help Conservative Revolutionaries fight the good fight, too, including quick links to email your congresspersons about issues you think are important, and links to relevant news articles, organized by topic. If you care about the United States of America and the direction our government is going in, you simply must bookmark this site.
PatriotPost.us
Number two in my trifecta of conservative heavy hitter sites, The Patriot is the standard bearer for the legacy of America's second greatest president, Ronald Reagan. These folks understand what it means to be on the front lines of the revolution against liberal, socialist tyranny, and they fight the good fight the right way. Their three weekly e-mailings are both informative and entertaining. Many quotes in their mailings are highlights of the articles found on TownHall.com. They also maintain an archive of some of the most important documents concerning the U.S. government and the writings of the founding fathers. A truly great resource for those interested in what the Founding Fathers really meant when they wrote that pesky Constitution.
www.intellectualconservative.com
Completing my conservative site trifecta, IntellectualConservative.com features some authors that are not regulars at TownHall.com. This was actually the first of the three biggies that I visited, and it was through them that I found TownHall.com and PatriotPost.us. The additional authors published here are worth checking out, as well.
www.971talk.com
This is the website of the St. Louis talk station that I listen to every day. It features mostly conservative talk shows, including Laura Ingraham, Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Tony Snow, Michael Savage, and some local conservative hosts. The national news is from Fox, so they really provide the whole "conservative" package. It is a good source of information if you want to know what the media is talking about, but don't want to hear the socialist slant of the main stream media outlets. You can stream their audio live from the website, as well, which is nice if you aren't in the St. Louis area.
www.humaneventsonline.com
The official home of Robert Novak and Ann Coulter, several other prominent conservatives call HumanEventsOnline.com home as well. Most of the authors here can be read on TownHall.com, but Robert Novak's weekly email, the Evans-Novak Political Report, is well worth subscribing to for his inside analysis of the current goings-on in Washington politics.
www.josephcphillips.com
More than just an actor, Joseph C. Phillips is a beacon of reason in the ever-darkening liberal quagmire that is Hollywood. This guy is for real, swatting liberal nonsense aside with his big stick of truth. Check out his site and see how he deals with the nonsense the kooks throw at him. And send him some recipes, too.
www.lauraingraham.com
Laura Ingraham is a very funny conservative talk show host, who really likes to stick it to the main stream media and the Hollywood entertainment establishment. I find her very funny, her show very informative, and I like how on top of current cultural trends she stays.
www.billoreilly.com
Bill O'Reilly describes himself as a culture warrior. He does a good job of taking a neutral position in terms of party lines, while positioning himself solidly on the side of moral and cultural "traditionalism". Bill O'Reilly also covers some interesting stories some of the other radio hosts, who may or may not get their talking points from certain political parties, may miss. Bill's radio show is excellent. I especially like that, when he's not in the studio, he will sometimes get hosts with different viewpoints than his on certain pertinent topics.
www.hannity.com
Sean Hannity hosts the second highest rated radio talk show in America (behind Rush Limbaugh). He trends a little too hard-core Republican for me sometimes, but he has broken with the party before and has established himself has a credible "conservative first, republican second" kind of guy as a result. I especially like the amount of air time Sean gives his callers, which no other national radio host does.
www.richardsongraphics.net
This is my on-line portfolio, featuring some of the packaging, ad, and catalog work I've done during my graphic design career. Have a look if you'd like to see what I do when I'm not griping about the current state of affairs of American government.
www.webantsdesign.com
This site is the home of my site host, Vance. He has a nice little web development company that specializes in helping smaller businesses get on the web. He is a good programmer and site designer, so definately check him out if you are looking for help getting your business online.
www.zarius.com
My buddy Chris, who was intrumental in helping me understand how to get my blog up and running, makes his blog home here. He posts some pretty interesting and funny stuff. He was also the first person to ever link to my portfolio website, so I owe him big time. Thanks, Chris!
www.newt.org
Other than George W. Bush, I'm not sure any politician has ever gotten so much undeserved bad press as Newt Gingrich. Newt Gingrich is the father of the Contract with America platform that won Republicans the House and Senate in 1994. I subscribe to his mailing list, which I found through Human Events Online, and I thoroughly enjoy reading his commentary on the current state of world and domestic affairs. Newt Gingrich, far from being satisfied pointing fingers at people who rightly deserve to be called out, offers common sense solutions to some of the country's toughest problems. His website provides the text to some of his recent speeches, as well as offering his viewpoint on certian political issues, with solid plans for dealing with those issues. Find that on some leftist's site!
